Guerlain

Since 1828 and the opening of Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain's boutique on the rue de Rivoli, the house has shaped the history of French perfumery: Jicky in 1889, the first modern fragrance; Shalimar in 1925, an oriental ode to the Taj Mahal; and the unbroken lineage of its in-house perfumers. A member of LVMH since 1994, Guerlain also reigns supreme in skincare with Orchidée Impériale and in makeup with its Météorites, from its historic headquarters at 68 Champs-Élysées. The imperial bee, its emblem since the bottle created for Empress Eugénie in 1853, watches over it all.
