Founded in Geneva in 1883 by Gottlieb Hauser, Alpina was a pioneer of the Swiss sports watch: its 1938 Alpina 4 already established the four essential criteria of the genre: shockproof, antimagnetic, water-resistant, and made of steel. A long-time supplier to aviators and skiers, the brand cultivates a unique positioning: accessible, Swiss-made sports watches. A sister brand of Frédérique Constant within the Citizen group since 2016, Alpina now offers its Startimer, Seastrong, and Alpiner collections, blending mountain heritage with in-house calibers.
