After collaborating with artistsNan Goldin and Marilyn Minter, with contemporary artist Rob Pruitt has launched Jimmy Choo a highly original capsule collection. The collection includes shoes—from pumps and flip-flops to loafers— bags , andleather goodssuch as wallets and keychains in fluorescent zebra print. Creative directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway explain: “ This collection has unveiled unique and highly original pieces, blending Rob Pruitt’s sardonic spirit with Jimmy Choo’s iconic glamour.”
The panda is the signature character in Rob Pruitt's universe, and can even be found inside the shoes. "The panda is a recurring image that lies at the heart of my artistic work. It's a symbol that reminds us to be both cautious and appreciate beautiful things. Pandas represent the harmony of yin and yang."
A video was created for the launch of the collection by Jo Ratcliffe, which reflects the imagination of American artist Rob Pruitt, a funny and cute.
Available from November 2012 in all Jimmy Choo stores.
