The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon: What Burberry is really preparing at the V&A
In London, Burberry is no longer content with simply putting its iconic trench coat back at the heart of its collections. The British fashion house is now showcasing it in a museum. From September 21, 2026, to January 3, 2027, the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington will host "The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon," a free exhibition dedicated to the history, craftsmanship, and cultural transformations of the brand's most famous garment. The exhibition brings together pieces from the Burberry archives and the V&A collections, on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the house, founded in 1856.
