Founded in 1919 by engineer Walter Owen Bentley, five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1920s with his legendary Bentley Boys, the Crewe-based brand has made British luxury grand touring its raison d'être. Part of the Volkswagen Group since 1998, Bentley combines fine woodworking, hand-stitched upholstery, and W12 and later hybrid engines in the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga. Each car requires around one hundred hours of craftsmanship, a legacy of a century in which performance was never conceived without refinement.
