The talented designer Fabio Novembre has created for Venini a series of curious vases called Happy Pills which look remarkably like two-tone medicine pills .
These brightly colored, pill -shaped vases incalmo technique . This technique involves working the upper and lower parts of the object independently before joining them while hot . The Happy Pills are, of course, made of handmade Murano glass Venini .
Venini and Fabio Novembre's Happy Pills are a numbered edition , and to push the pharmaceutical theme even further, each color combination is associated with the name of a chemical substance : Testosterone, Estrogen, Phenylethylamine, Adrenalin or Oxytocin.
This series of two-tone vases/capsules designer 's ethos, for whom the utility of an object is no longer a priority; above all, they must keep us company and brighten our daily lives.
